Saxelbye is a small village located in the county of Leicestershire, England. The village is situated 4 miles from Melton Mowbray and the home of Pork Pies. Also just 10 miles  from Leicester and 18 miles from Nottingham, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village has a rich history dating back to the 11th century when it was mentioned in the Domesday Book.

One of the main attractions in Saxelbye is the St. Peter's Church, which dates back to the 13th century. The church is a Grade II listed building and is known for its beautiful architecture and stained glass windows. The church is still in use today.

A popular destination for walkers and cyclists. The village is located near the Leicestershire Round, a 100-mile circular walk that takes in some of the most beautiful countryside in the county. The village is also located near the Bradgate Park, a 830-acre park that is home to a range of wildlife including deer and foxes.
